The Premier League has announced the three candidates for February’s Manager of the Month award, with one in particular standing out.

Mikel Arteta of Arsenal, who won in January, did not make the cut this time, making room for a new winner.

Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, will be a strong favorite to win the award after leading the Red Devils back into contention for the Premier League title with three victories and one draw in four games this month.

Carabao Cup champions United won against Crystal Palace, Leicester, and Leeds, though the latter did manage a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford to spoil Ten Hag’s otherwise perfect month.

Fulham’s Marco Silva also oversaw an unbeaten month and makes the final shortlist after inspiring two wins and two draws while conceding just one goal.

Antonio Conte surprisingly to be on shortlist

Antonio Conte is without a doubt the biggest surprise on the shortlist, having missed the majority of the month due to gallbladder surgery.

Conte delegated control to assistant Cristian Stellini for the famous 1-0 victory over Manchester City to begin the month, before returning to the dugout for a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Leicester City.

Conte returned to Italy after being advised that he needed more rest, leaving Stellini in charge, with Spurs roaring to 2-0 victories over both West Ham and Chelsea in his absence.

Fans have until Monday, March 6 to vote for their favorite, and an expert panel will also help determine the eventual winner.
